Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, write, and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, API documentation, release notes, and online help content.
- Collaborate with product development teams, engineers, and subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy of technical content.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and engaging language for various audiences.
- Ensure documentation adheres to established style guides, terminology, and branding standards.
- Conduct thorough content reviews for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Manage documentation projects from inception to delivery, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
- Incorporate feedback from internal teams and customers to continuously improve documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with product updates, industry trends, and new documentation tools/technologies.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of documentation processes and best practices.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Writer in a software development or IT environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency with documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, Git, Markdown, DITA, Oxygen XML).
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Ability to interpret complex technical specifications and product features.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with SaaS platforms and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with graphic design tools for creating diagrams and illustrations (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Illustrator).
- Experience with video tutorials or screencasts creation.
- Knowledge of developer documentation best practices for APIs and SDKs.
- Certification in technical communication or related areas.
