Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing telecommunications infrastructure, services, and expenditures to identify optimization opportunities.
- Develop and maintain detailed reports on telecom performance, cost savings, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Collaborate with vendors to evaluate new technologies, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective procurement of telecom services and equipment.
- Act as a subject matter expert for telecom-related projects, providing technical guidance and business insights to cross-functional teams.
- Manage the telecom expense management (TEM) process, including invoice validation, dispute resolution, and cost allocation.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions that enhance connectivity and reduce operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with telecommunications regulations and company policies.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities related to telecom expenses and capital investments.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience as a Telecom Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of telecommunications technologies (e.g., VoIP, UCaaS, SD-WAN, mobile, fixed-line).
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Experience with Telecom Expense Management (TEM) systems.
