Hiring.zycto is actively seeking a meticulous and dedicated Textile Worker to join the production team at one of our esteemed manufacturing client’s facilities in Edmonton, Alberta. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor various textile production machinery, including industrial sewing machines, cutting equipment, and finishing tools.
- Inspect raw materials and finished textile products for quality control, identifying and reporting any defects or inconsistencies.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor adjustments on machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Follow production schedules and work orders accurately, adhering to specified product designs and dimensions.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring adherence to all safety regulations and protocols.
- Assist with material handling, including loading and unloading textiles onto machines or transport equipment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot production issues and improve processes.
- Record production data, including quantities produced, materials used, and any issues encountered.
- Ensure efficient use of materials to minimize waste and optimize production costs, contributing to sustainable practices.
Required Skills
- Proven experience operating industrial sewing machines or other textile production equipment.
