As a Therapist with Hiring.zycto, you will be at the forefront of mental health support, guiding individuals through various life challenges, emotional distress, and psychological hurdles. You will utilize your expertise in evidence-based therapeutic modalities to develop personalized treatment plans, facilitate healing, and promote long-term mental wellness. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate clients' needs, history, and goals.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing appropriate therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, psychodynamic, humanistic, etc.).
- Provide individual counseling sessions to clients experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship issues, and stress.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources as needed to ensure holistic client care.
- Participate in regular clinical supervision and team meetings to enhance professional growth and ensure quality of care.
- Adhere strictly to professional ethical guidelines and maintain client confidentiality at all times.
- Continuously engage in professional development activities to stay abreast of best practices and new therapeutic approaches.
Required Skills
- Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field.
- Full professional registration/licensure to practice as a Therapist/Counselor in Scotland (e.g., BACP, COSCA, UKCP accreditation).
- Minimum of 3 years (36 months) post-qualification clinical experience in providing individual therapy.
- Demonstrated proficiency in various evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
- Strong ethical compass and commitment to client confidentiality and professional boundaries.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively and efficiently.
- Proficiency in clinical documentation and record-keeping.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in conducting group therapy sessions.
- Specialization or advanced training in a specific therapeutic area (e.g., trauma-informed care, addiction, family therapy).
- Knowledge of local community mental health resources in Aberdeen.
- Experience with telehealth platforms for remote counseling.
