Key Responsibilities
- Translate various types of content (e.g., documents, articles, marketing materials) from source to target language, maintaining context, tone, and style.
- Ensure accuracy, grammatical correctness, and cultural appropriateness of all translated materials.
- Utilize translation memory (TM) and terminology management tools effectively after receiving training.
- Collaborate with senior translators and project managers to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
- Participate in quality assurance reviews of translated content under supervision.
- Conduct thorough research to resolve linguistic queries and ensure correct terminology.
- Adhere strictly to project deadlines and client-specific style guides.
- Actively participate in training sessions and professional development initiatives.
Required Skills
- Native or near-native fluency in at least two languages (one being English).
- Exceptional written communication skills in both source and target languages.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent grasp of grammar, syntax, and cultural nuances.
- High level of motivation and a strong desire to learn and develop translation skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, Communications, or a related field.
- Familiarity with CAT (Computer-Assisted Translation) tools (training will be provided).
- Knowledge of an additional third language.
