Key Responsibilities
- Design and book complex travel itineraries including flights, accommodation, tours, and transfers for diverse client needs.
- Provide expert advice on destinations, travel restrictions, visa requirements, and cultural nuances to clients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel industry trends, products, and services through continuous learning.
- Process bookings, issue tickets, and manage amendments or cancellations efficiently and accurately.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring repeat business and referrals through exceptional service.
- Handle client inquiries and resolve travel-related issues promptly and professionally, minimizing disruptions.
- Utilize GDS (Global Distribution System) and other booking platforms effectively to secure the best options.
- Promote additional travel services such as travel insurance, car rentals, and excursions to enhance client trips.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Travel Agent or similar role (minimum 2 years).
- Extensive knowledge of international and domestic travel destinations.
- Proficiency in GDS (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) is essential for booking management.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
