Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, and budget.
- Research, recommend, and book flights, accommodations, rental cars, cruises, tours, and other travel services.
- Develop customized and comprehensive travel itineraries that cater to individual client requirements.
- Provide expert advice on destinations, travel restrictions, visa requirements, and cultural nuances.
- Manage bookings, amendments, and cancellations efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel industry trends, products, and supplier promotions.
- Handle client inquiries and resolve travel-related issues promptly and professionally.
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Utilize GDS (Global Distribution System) or other booking platforms effectively.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Travel Agent or similar role.
- Proven experience with travel booking software and GDS (e.g., Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo).
- Excellent knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations, regulations, and industry trends.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
