Key Responsibilities
- Assist truck drivers with loading, unloading, and securing various types of cargo.
- Verify cargo against delivery manifests to ensure accuracy and report discrepancies.
- Navigate routes with drivers, providing assistance with directions and logistical support.
- Help with pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the truck and during loading/unloading.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, dispatch, and customers.
- Assist with basic vehicle maintenance checks and reporting issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support efficient delivery operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Strong physical stamina and endurance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
