As a Truck Driver with Hiring.zycto, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods to various destinations. Your day-to-day will involve conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring your vehicle is in optimal condition, and meticulously maintaining accurate logbooks in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. You will become proficient in route planning, delivery schedules, and customer service as you interact with clients and dispatch teams. Our commitment to safety is paramount, and you will receive extensive training on safe driving practices, cargo securement, and emergency procedures. Key Responsibilities

  • Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently to transport goods.
  • Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of cargo to designated locations.
  • Maintain precise electronic and/or paper logbooks in accordance with DOT regulations.
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding delivery status and potential issues.
  • Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
  • Complete necessary paperwork and records accurately.
  • Represent Hiring.zycto professionally at all times.

Required Skills

  • Valid Class A or B Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP) or the ability to obtain one.
  • Clean driving record (Motor Vehicle Record).
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
  • Basic communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to read and understand maps or GPS directions.
  • Physical capability to load/unload cargo and perform vehicle inspections.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience operating heavy machinery or vehicles (even non-CDL).
  • Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs).
  • Customer service orientation.
