Key Responsibilities
- Perform fitting, balancing, and rotation of tyres on various vehicle types.
- Conduct thorough tyre inspections to assess wear, damage, and pressure.
- Execute puncture repairs in compliance with industry safety standards.
- Undertake wheel alignment services using state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment.
- Advise customers on tyre care, appropriate tyre selection, and safety recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Accurately complete job cards and service reports.
- Collaborate effectively with other workshop technicians and front-of-house staff.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Tyre Fitter in an automotive workshop environment.
- Proficiency in tyre fitting, balancing, rotation, and puncture repair techniques.
- Knowledge of various tyre types (e.g., run-flat, low profile, commercial).
- Familiarity with wheel alignment principles and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid UK Driving License.
Preferred Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or a related automotive qualification.

- Knowledge of tyre pressure monitoring systems (TPMS).
