Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior utility technicians and tradespeople with various tasks related to installation, maintenance, and repair of utility infrastructure.
- Perform general labour duties including digging trenches, moving materials, site preparation, and cleanup.
- Operate hand and power tools under supervision, adhering strictly to safety guidelines.
- Help with the loading and unloading of equipment and supplies from company vehicles.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including vehicles and equipment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding daily tasks and progress.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Respond to and assist with emergency situations as required, following established protocols.
- Perform routine inspections of equipment and report any malfunctions or damage.

- Knowledge of basic hand tools and construction practices
- Experience working in an outdoor environment in various weather conditions
