Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute innovative visual merchandising strategies and concepts for store windows and interior displays.
- Ensure all visual displays are consistent with brand guidelines, seasonal themes, and promotional calendars.
- Collaborate with store management and sales teams to plan and implement effective product placement and store layouts.
- Source and manage props, fixtures, and other display materials, maintaining inventory and budget guidelines.
- Regularly visit stores to assess visual standards, provide training, and ensure proper execution of merchandising directives.
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to optimize visual merchandising efforts for maximum commercial impact.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and new visual merchandising techniques to maintain a fresh and innovative approach.
- Train store teams on visual merchandising standards and best practices to ensure consistency and high quality.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from concept development to flawless execution, often under tight deadlines.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Visual Merchandiser in a retail environment (preferably 2-3 years).
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creative flair, attention to detail, and commercial awareness.
- Excellent understanding of design principles, color theory, lighting, and spatial awareness.
- Proficiency in visual merchandising software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Ability to interpret sales data and translate it into effective visual merchandising strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various teams.
- Physical ability to lift, move, and arrange display elements and stand for extended periods.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Fashion Merchandising, Retail Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Experience with luxury or high-end retail brands.
