Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the overall technical strategy and architectural roadmap for all software products.
- Lead, mentor, and grow multiple engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to best practices, quality standards, and security protocols.
- Collaborate closely with product management, sales, and executive leadership to align engineering efforts with business goals.
- Manage engineering budgets, resource allocation, and project timelines to ensure efficient delivery.
- Champion and implement cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to enhance product performance and scalability.
- Attract, recruit, and retain top engineering talent, building a diverse and high-performing team.
- Represent engineering perspectives in executive decision-making and communicate technical strategy to a broad audience.
Required Skills
- 13+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or VP role.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and scaling engineering organizations (50+ engineers).
- Deep understanding of modern software architectures, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and microservices.
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and their application in large-scale development environments.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, capable of influencing at all levels.
- Proven track record of delivering complex, high-quality software products on time and within budget.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience with AI/ML integration into product development.
