Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and seat guests, presenting menus and explaining daily specials.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, using our POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation and temperature meet our high standards.
- Anticipate guest needs, offering recommendations and fulfilling requests with a proactive approach.
- Maintain a clean and organised dining area, including table settings, condiment replenishment, and general tidiness.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash and card transactions responsibly.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other front-of-house team members to ensure smooth service flow.
- Address guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and a problem-solving mindset, escalating to management when necessary.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer-facing hospitality role, preferably as a waiter/waitress.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced dining environment.
