Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming shipments against packing lists.
- Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare orders for outbound shipping, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and hand trucks safely and proficiently.
- Perform regular inventory counts and assist with cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse environment.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards immediately.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse or production environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout a shift.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking and data entry.
- Effective verbal communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience operating a forklift or other material handling equipment (certification preferred).
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
- Experience with shipping and receiving processes.
