Key Responsibilities
- Assist in receiving, storing, and issuing materials, supplies, and equipment from the warehouse.
- Perform accurate inventory counts and reconcile physical inventory with system records on a regular basis.
- Utilize our inventory management system to update stock levels, track movements, and generate reports.
- Conduct daily cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventories to ensure data accuracy.
- Identify and report discrepancies, damaged goods, or slow-moving items.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the warehouse.
- Collaborate with other warehouse team members and departments to optimize workflow and efficiency.
- Learn and adhere to all safety protocols and company policies related to warehouse operations.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs unassisted.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory-related role (even part-time or volunteer).
- Familiarity with inventory management software or WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Valid G Driver's License.
