Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and store incoming materials and products accurately.
- Pick and pack orders according to specifications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling, weighing, and loading onto vehicles.
- Perform quality checks on products and report any discrepancies or damages.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 25kg) regularly.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written).
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Eligibility for visa sponsorship (as per UK Home Office requirements).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment (1+ year).
- Experience operating MHE (Manual Handling Equipment) such as pallet trucks.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- A valid forklift truck license (Counterbalance or Reach).
