Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and retrieve customer orders from warehouse shelves based on pick lists or scanner instructions.
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Verify product quantity, quality, and item numbers before packaging to ensure order accuracy.
- Package orders securely and label them appropriately for shipment, adhering to company standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including performing routine cleaning tasks.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with stock rotation as needed to support warehouse operations.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse personnel regarding order status or discrepancies.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly throughout a shift.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Basic math skills for counting and verifying inventory.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Commitment to workplace safety protocols.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (6+ months) in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Certification or experience operating a forklift or electric pallet jack.
