This full-time position is absolutely critical to the seamless functioning of our supply chain, directly ensuring that products are accurately and efficiently retrieved from storage and prepared for dispatch. As a Warehouse Picker, you will be right at the heart of our logistics network, playing an indispensable role in fulfilling customer orders and upholding our unwavering reputation for exceptional service and reliability.

You will be responsible for meticulously locating and extracting specific items from designated storage areas, ensuring that each product matches the order specifications perfectly. This involves careful adherence to picking lists, utilising handheld scanners or other inventory management tools, and ensuring all picked items are correctly packed or prepared for the next stage of the shipping process.

Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and retrieve products from warehouse locations based on picking lists or scanner instructions.
- Verify product quantity, quality, and item number against order specifications.
- Operate manual and powered equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) safely and efficiently.
- Prepare items for packing and shipping, ensuring they are correctly labelled and staged.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies or damages to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
- Assist with loading and unloading tasks as required.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to warehousing and safety.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to read and understand picking lists and follow instructions.
- Physical stamina to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods, and lift packages up to 25kg.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Picker or similar role.
- Experience with handheld scanning devices and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Certification or experience operating MHE (Manual Handling Equipment) like a pallet truck.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn new processes.
