Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations based on order sheets and scanning systems.
- Efficiently pack items, ensuring proper protection, quality control, and correct labeling for shipment.
- Load and unload delivery trucks and containers manually or with appropriate material handling equipment.
- Perform routine quality checks on outgoing orders to prevent discrepancies and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all housekeeping standards.
- Assist with inventory counts, stock rotation, and replenishment tasks as needed to maintain accuracy.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, company policies, and provincial regulations to ensure a secure workplace.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs (22.7 kg) regularly and safely.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment and product handling.
- Reliability and punctuality are paramount for maintaining operational flow.
- Basic communication skills, including the ability to read and understand instructions in English.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift for extended periods during a shift.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or similar physical work environment (even minimal).
- Familiarity with basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or hand trucks.
- High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
