Key Responsibilities
- Perform visual inspections of incoming and outgoing products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Verify product quantities, labeling, and packaging accuracy against order documentation.
- Identify and report any damaged, defective, or non-conforming items immediately to supervisors.
- Accurately document inspection results, including any discrepancies or issues found, using company systems.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining the quality control area, ensuring cleanliness and order.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and team leads to resolve quality issues and prevent future occurrences.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while performing duties.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance quality control knowledge and skills.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to report findings clearly.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read labels, count items, and complete documentation.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift moderate weights (up to 25 lbs) throughout a shift (with or without accommodation).
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Familiarity with basic computer applications for data entry.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting (even in non-quality roles) is a plus, but not required.
