Key Responsibilities
- Accurately sort and organize incoming and outgoing merchandise according to designated categories and locations.
- Scan products and update inventory records using handheld devices or computer systems.
- Inspect items for damage or discrepancies, reporting any issues to supervisors immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and procedures.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily productivity goals.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including attendance and punctuality standards.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs consistently throughout a shift.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in sorting and counting.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures and willingness to follow them.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) after training.
