Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently unload incoming freight and products from various vehicles, including trucks and containers.
- Verify the quantity and condition of goods against shipping manifests and report any discrepancies or damages immediately.
- Sort and organize unloaded items for proper storage, staging, or onward movement within the warehouse.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks or hand trucks, in a safe and efficient manner (training provided if necessary).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including sweeping, cleaning, and light maintenance.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth and timely processing of goods.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs regularly, occasionally more)
- Strong attention to detail for verifying shipments
