Job Description
Hiring.zycto is on an urgent search for dedicated and energetic Warehouse Workers to join our growing team in Bendale, Toronto. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and check incoming shipments against invoices and purchase orders.
- Efficiently sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, or product code.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently, preparing them for shipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, and potentially forklifts (if certified and required).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment by adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks in a safe and timely manner.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Physical stamina and endurance for standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Basic math skills and ability to read and understand shipping documents.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and inventory management.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all safety protocols.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (6+ months) in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Experience operating pallet jacks, reach trucks, or forklifts (valid certification an asset).
- Familiarity with inventory management systems (WMS).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
