Key Responsibilities
- Collect household and commercial waste from designated locations.
- Safely and efficiently load refuse onto collection vehicles.
- Follow pre-determined collection routes and schedules.
- Operate vehicle lifting mechanisms for bins (where applicable) with care.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Work collaboratively and effectively as part of a collection crew.
- Communicate courteously and professionally with members of the public.
- Report any operational issues, hazards, or equipment malfunctions to supervisors promptly.
- Assist with basic vehicle and equipment checks as required to ensure operational readiness.
- Maintain cleanliness of collection vehicles and equipment during shifts.
