Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive initial consultations with couples to understand their vision, preferences, and budget.
- Develop detailed wedding plans, timelines, and checklists, ensuring all aspects of the event are covered.
- Manage and track wedding budgets, providing regular updates and advising clients on cost-effective solutions.
- Source, vet, and negotiate contracts with vendors including venues, caterers, photographers, florists, entertainment, and transportation.
- Design and conceptualize wedding themes, decor, and overall aesthetics in collaboration with clients.
- Coordinate and attend vendor meetings, tastings, fittings, and site visits as necessary.
- Oversee all logistical arrangements leading up to and on the wedding day, ensuring seamless execution.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and vendors, maintaining clear and consistent communication.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or unforeseen challenges that may arise before or during the event.
- Provide exceptional client service, ensuring a positive and memorable planning experience from start to finish.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in wedding planning, event coordination, or a related field.
