Key Responsibilities
- Assist certified welders and fabricators with various tasks.
- Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, cleaning, and positioning components.
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Transport materials and equipment to and from work areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including general housekeeping of the shop.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and minor repairs under supervision.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures rigorously to ensure a safe working environment.
- Support quality control efforts by identifying and reporting potential issues.
