Job Description

Hiring.zycto is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Workforce Planner to join our fully remote team. As a Workforce Planner, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our human capital by forecasting staffing needs, developing strategic workforce plans, and ensuring we have the right talent in the right place at the right time. This remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in Canada, while collaborating closely with a diverse and innovative team dedicated to excellence. You will be instrumental in translating business objectives into actionable workforce strategies, utilizing advanced analytics and data modeling to predict future requirements and identify potential gaps. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain robust workforce planning models, incorporating various data points such as historical performance, business forecasts, and market trends.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of staffing levels, capacity, productivity, and attrition to identify current and future workforce needs and risks.
  • Collaborate with department heads and HR partners to understand business objectives and translate them into actionable workforce strategies.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on workforce trends, forecasts, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Monitor key workforce metrics and performance indicators, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Design and implement workforce solutions, including hiring plans, redeployment strategies, and talent development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and internal policies in workforce planning activities.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve workforce planning processes, tools, and methodologies.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in workforce planning, forecasting, or resource management within a complex organization.
  • Proven proficiency in data analysis, statistical modeling, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong understanding of workforce management systems and tools (e.g., WFM software, HRIS).
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or a related quantitative field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma).
