Key Responsibilities
- Design and lead engaging, safe, and effective yoga classes across various styles (e.g., Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative, Power Yoga) for diverse skill levels.
- Provide clear demonstrations, modifications, and hands-on adjustments (with consent) to ensure proper alignment and technique.
- Cultivate a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere for all students, encouraging community and personal growth.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting studio space before and after classes.
- Actively engage with students, answering questions, providing feedback, and building rapport.
- Stay updated on current yoga trends, methodologies, and continuous education to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
- Assist with studio events, workshops, and promotional activities as needed.
- Adhere to all studio policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Manage class attendance and student check-ins accurately using studio software.
Required Skills
- Minimum RYT-200 Yoga Alliance Certification.
- Proven experience teaching a variety of yoga styles to diverse groups.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and proper alignment principles.
- Ability to provide hands-on adjustments effectively and safely.
- Positive, energetic, and professional demeanor.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- RYT-500 Certification or specialized training in areas such as Pre/Postnatal, Kids Yoga, or Yin Yoga.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Experience with studio management software (e.g., Mindbody, WellnessLiving).
- A demonstrated passion for continuous learning and personal development in yoga.
- Ability to teach workshops or specialized series.
