As a Coat Check Attendant, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of various events, from glamorous galas and corporate functions to lively concerts and private parties. Your primary responsibility will be to meticulously receive, store, and return guests’ personal belongings, including coats, bags, and other items, with the utmost care and efficiency. This requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a friendly demeanor that puts guests at ease. You’ll be adept at handling high-volume periods with grace, ensuring quick and accurate service while maintaining a calm and welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure.
- Receive and safely store guests' coats, bags, and other personal items.
- Issue accurate claim tickets and ensure proper organization for efficient retrieval.
- Retrieve stored items promptly and accurately upon request.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coat check area at all times.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments for coat check services accurately (if applicable).
- Assist guests with general inquiries about the event or venue.
- Report any lost or damaged items, security concerns, or issues to management immediately.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding guest service and item handling.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
