Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery across various modes of transport.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation accurately, including bills of lading, customs forms, invoices, and packing lists.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with carriers, suppliers, customers, and internal teams regarding shipment status, schedules, and potential delays.
- Assist with inventory management activities, including monitoring stock levels, coordinating replenishment orders, and supporting cycle counts.
- Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies, delivery issues, and customer service inquiries promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all logistics activities, transactions, and communications within the company's systems.
- Support the optimization of transportation routes, carrier selection, and scheduling to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to streamline order fulfillment processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
