Key Responsibilities
- Perform professional window cleaning on commercial and residential buildings, including high-rise structures.
- Operate and maintain a variety of access equipment, including abseiling gear, hydraulic platforms (cherry pickers), cradles, and water-fed pole systems.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations, company policies, and site-specific risk assessments.
- Conduct daily equipment checks and ensure all tools and safety gear are in excellent working condition.
- Work efficiently and effectively, both independently and as part of a team, to meet project deadlines.
- Communicate clearly with team members, clients, and supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, protecting surrounding property from drips or damage.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or incidents immediately to a supervisor.
- Represent Hiring.zycto professionally at all times.
- Be proactive in identifying and resolving potential issues before they escalate.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in professional window cleaning, specifically high-rise and commercial buildings.
- Proficiency in operating various access equipment (e.g., abseiling, cherry pickers, cradles, water-fed poles).
- Strong understanding and adherence to health and safety regulations, particularly Working at Height regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering streak-free results.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform demanding tasks at heights in various weather conditions.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- IRATA Level 1 (or higher) Rope Access Technician certification.
- IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) PAL Card for powered access equipment.
- CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).
- First Aid certification.
- Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 3 penalty points.
