Hiring.zycto is seeking a dedicated and thorough Warehouse Cleaner with a keen eye for Industrial Hygiene to join our vital operations in Canton, Cardiff. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety throughout our busy warehouse facility. As a Warehouse Cleaner, you will be responsible for a wide array of cleaning tasks, from routine daily upkeep to more intensive periodic deep cleans. This includes sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitising floors across various sections of the warehouse, including storage areas, loading docks, offices, restrooms, and communal spaces. You will also be tasked with emptying waste bins, disposing of waste in designated areas, and ensuring that all surfaces, equipment, and machinery are free from dust, debris, and potential contaminants. Adherence to health and safety regulations, including COSHH guidelines for handling cleaning chemicals, is paramount.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming all warehouse floors and common areas.
- Sanitise restrooms, break rooms, offices, and other shared spaces to maintain high hygiene standards.
- Empty and clean waste bins, and dispose of waste and recycling materials properly.
- Clean and dust surfaces, shelves, equipment, and machinery, ensuring a debris-free environment.
- Operate and maintain industrial cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers and pressure washers, safely and efficiently.
- Replenish cleaning supplies and ensure stock levels are maintained.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and COSHH regulations when handling chemicals and operating equipment.
- Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or cleaning equipment malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.
- Assist with periodic deep cleaning projects and specialised cleaning tasks as required.
- Contribute to a positive and safe working environment for all team members.

- First Aid certification (basic).
