Hiring.zycto is seeking a highly creative and strategic Record Label Social Media Manager to lead our digital presence and amplify the voices of our diverse roster of artists. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across all major platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X/Twitter, Facebook, etc.) for the record label and its artists.
  • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written) ensuring it is consistent with brand voice and artist identity.
  • Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a "social" way while cultivating leads and sales.
  • Analyze social media campaign performance using various analytics tools, providing regular reports and actionable insights to optimize future strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, platform changes, technologies, and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with marketing, A&R, and artist teams to align social media activities with broader marketing campaigns and artist objectives.
  • Plan and implement social media advertising campaigns, managing budgets and targeting effectively.
  • Manage online brand reputation, identifying and addressing potential issues proactively.
  • Develop and manage content calendars, ensuring timely and consistent posting schedules.
  • Identify and engage with influencers and key opinion leaders within the music industry and relevant communities.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of proven experience as a Social Media Manager, preferably within the music, entertainment, or agency sector.
  • Demonstrable expertise in managing and growing social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook, Snapchat, etc.).
  • Excellent copywriting, editing, and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of social media analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, YouTube Studio, TikTok Analytics) and ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
  • Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, video editing software).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and attention to detail.
  • Deep passion for music and understanding of various music genres and artist communities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Music Business, or a related field.
  • Experience with paid social media advertising campaigns and budget management.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and how they relate to social media content.
