As a Wardrobe Stylist, you will be instrumental in defining the visual aesthetic and enhancing the narrative for diverse productions, including commercial photoshoots, film sets, advertising campaigns, corporate branding initiatives, and live events.

You will be responsible for translating client briefs and creative concepts into cohesive and impactful wardrobe choices. This involves everything from initial client consultations and mood board creation to extensive research, sourcing, purchasing, renting, and custom-making garments and accessories. A significant part of your role will be managing budgets meticulously, ensuring all styling efforts remain within financial parameters without compromising quality or creative integrity. You’ll be expected to conduct fittings, organize wardrobe logistics, and be present on set or location to oversee styling, ensuring every detail aligns with the overall vision.

The ideal candidate possesses an inherent ability to identify and interpret current fashion trends, historical period styles, and character-specific requirements. You will collaborate closely with photographers, directors, producers, makeup artists, and hair stylists to ensure a seamless and unified aesthetic outcome. Strong communication and organizational skills are paramount, as is the capacity to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to evolving project demands. You must be adept at building and maintaining relationships with local vendors, boutiques, and rental houses to ensure access to a diverse range of wardrobe options.

Your portfolio should reflect a broad range of styling experience, showcasing your versatility across different genres, styles, and client needs. We are looking for someone who is not just a stylist, but a storyteller through clothing, someone who can evoke emotion, establish character, and convey brand messages powerfully. This contract role offers the flexibility to engage with exciting, high-profile projects and expand your professional network within Vancouver’s thriving creative industry. If you are passionate about fashion, possess an impeccable sense of style, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, we invite you to contribute your unique talent to Hiring.zycto.
