Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping vegetables, and assembling dishes.
- Set up event spaces, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, cutlery, glassware, and decorations according to event specifications.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner during events.
- Replenish food stations, buffets, and beverage areas as needed throughout events.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in kitchen and serving areas, including dishwashing and sanitizing surfaces.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of catering equipment and supplies.
- Ensure proper storage of food items and equipment before and after events.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient event operations.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and food handling regulations.
- Respond to guest inquiries and special requests with a positive and helpful attitude.
