Hiring.zycto is seeking a passionate and highly organized Non-Profit Program Coordinator to join our dedicated team in Kitsilano Beach, Vancouver. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the planning, implementation, and evaluation of assigned non-profit programs and projects.
- Manage program timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure efficient and effective delivery.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with program participants, volunteers, community partners, and funders.
- Prepare comprehensive program reports, presentations, and communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers, ensuring their effective integration into program activities.
- Contribute to grant writing, fundraising initiatives, and donor stewardship efforts.
- Monitor program outcomes, collect data, and adapt strategies based on evaluation findings.
- Represent Hiring.zycto at community events, meetings, and forums to promote our mission and programs.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in program coordination or project management, preferably within the non-profit sector.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management software.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse communities and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Non-Profit Management, Community Development, or a related field.
- Experience with volunteer management and recruitment.
- Familiarity with grant writing and reporting processes.
- Knowledge of the Vancouver non-profit landscape and community resources.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
