Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport clients to their destinations, adhering to schedules and traffic laws.
- Maintain the cleanliness and operational readiness of assigned vehicles, including regular cleaning, fueling, and scheduling maintenance appointments.
- Assist with personal errands, including shopping, package delivery, and other tasks as required by the client.
- Manage and optimize travel itineraries, using navigation tools efficiently.
- Ensure the safety and security of clients during transit.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion regarding client information and activities.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Provide support for luggage handling and other physical assistance as needed.
- Communicate proactively regarding schedule changes, delays, or vehicle issues.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with an excellent, clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a professional driver or personal assistant driver.
- Exceptional knowledge of local traffic laws and routes in Vancouver (or ability to quickly learn).
- Strong navigational skills and familiarity with GPS devices and mapping applications.
- High degree of professionalism, discretion, and punctuality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks (oil, tires, fluids).
