As an A&R Coordinator, you will be the backbone of our talent scouting efforts, providing crucial administrative and creative support to the A&R department. Your day-to-day will involve managing an extensive database of artist submissions, meticulously logging and categorizing demos, and preparing comprehensive reports for review. You’ll play a key role in the initial screening process, helping to identify potential hitmakers and unique sonic profiles that align with our label’s vision. Beyond the administrative tasks, you’ll be an active participant in brainstorming sessions, contributing insights gathered from market research and your innate understanding of current music trends.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and organize all incoming artist submissions, demos, and talent leads.
- Log, categorize, and track artist materials in the A&R database with meticulous detail.
- Conduct initial screening and review of demos, providing concise summaries and feedback.
- Prepare comprehensive A&R reports, including artist profiles, market analysis, and competitive landscape information.
- Assist A&R executives with scheduling meetings, coordinating travel arrangements, and managing calendars.
- Research emerging artists, trends, and independent music scenes across various genres.
- Liaise with artists, managers, and external partners, maintaining professional communication.
- Support the planning and execution of artist showcases, listening sessions, and industry events.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive artist information and label strategies.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions for artist development, marketing, and release strategies.
