Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of catering events, including tables, chairs, linens, and décor.
- Prepare and arrange food and beverage displays according to event specifications and hygiene standards.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and friendly manner.
- Replenish food stations and ensure food quality and presentation are maintained throughout events.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces, kitchen areas, and equipment.
- Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation tasks as required, such as chopping vegetables or portioning ingredients.
- Operate and clean kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest inquiries and needs with a positive attitude.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation as directed.
- Transport catering supplies and equipment to and from event venues.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a catering, restaurant, or hospitality setting (even informal experience is a plus)
- Food Safe Level 1 certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Valid Class 5 British Columbia Driver's License and access to reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules
