Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks including washing, peeling, chopping, and slicing ingredients.
- Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene by regularly cleaning workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Support with dishwashing duties, ensuring a constant supply of clean plates, cutlery, and cooking tools.
- Receive and store deliveries, ensuring proper stock rotation and organisation of dry stores, fridges, and freezers.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations, including COSHH guidelines and food safety standards.
- Help in preparing ingredients for various sections of the kitchen, such as starters, mains, and desserts.
- Empty bins and ensure waste is disposed of correctly and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and efficient workflow.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding kitchen environment.
