Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis of real estate trends, economic indicators, and property comparables.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models (DCF, IRR, NPV, ROI) for various real estate investment opportunities, including acquisitions, developments, and dispositions.
- Assist in the due diligence process for potential investments, including reviewing legal documents, property reports, and financial statements.
- Prepare comprehensive investment memoranda, valuation reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Monitor portfolio performance, identify key drivers, risks, and opportunities, and contribute to strategic asset management decisions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with acquisition, asset management, development, and finance teams to ensure alignment on investment strategies.
- Support capital raising activities and financing efforts by providing detailed financial analysis and projections.
- Stay informed on local market conditions, zoning regulations, and other factors impacting real estate values in the Vancouver area.
Required Skills
- Proven expertise in financial modeling and valuation techniques (DCF, comparable sales, income capitalization).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.

- Solid understanding of real estate finance principles, investment strategies, and market dynamics.
