Job Description
Hiring.zycto is seeking enthusiastic and highly professional Valet Parking Attendants to join our vibrant team in the heart of Vancouver, near the picturesque David Lam Park. As a Valet Parking Attendant, you will be the welcoming face of our establishment, providing exceptional service and ensuring a seamless experience for all guests. Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure.
- Safely and efficiently park and retrieve guest vehicles in designated areas.
- Assist guests with luggage and personal belongings as needed, offering proactive assistance.
- Provide accurate directions and information about the venue and local area, including nearby attractions like David Lam Park.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the valet parking area, ensuring a pristine first impression.
- Inspect vehicles for pre-existing damage upon arrival and document findings meticulously.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety procedures, and local regulations.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve minor issues with a polite, helpful, and solutions-oriented demeanor.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure seamless operational flow and guest satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Valid Class 5 British Columbia Driver's License (or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 12 months driving experience, preferably in a professional capacity.
- Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles with proficiency.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills, with a friendly and approachable attitude.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently and remain composed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, run, and bend for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be punctual, reliable, and possess a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a valet or in a similar guest service-oriented role within hospitality.
- Extensive knowledge of local Vancouver attractions, major landmarks, and street navigation.
- Ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages is considered a significant asset.
- Experience handling and parking luxury or high-performance vehicles.
- Certification in First Aid or customer service training.
