Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine oil and filter changes on various makes and models of vehicles.
- Conduct comprehensive multi-point vehicle inspections, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and basic component wear.
- Rotate tires and balance wheels as required.
- Inspect and top off all vital fluids, including power steering, brake, transmission, and windshield washer fluids.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the service bay.
- Assist senior technicians with various tasks and learn advanced diagnostic and repair procedures.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding vehicle status and findings.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Document services performed and recommendations accurately.
Required Skills
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and a genuine interest in vehicles.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
