Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and efficiently to dispatch calls for towing and roadside assistance.
- Safely operate various types of tow trucks, including flatbeds and wheel-lifts, to recover and transport vehicles.
- Perform basic roadside assistance services such as tire changes, jump-starts, and fuel delivery.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before, during, and after towing operations to ensure safety and prevent damage.
- Accurately complete all necessary paperwork, including invoices, incident reports, and service logs.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with dispatch, customers, and other emergency personnel.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and industry regulations.
- Keep tow truck and equipment in clean, organized, and optimal working condition.
- Provide exceptional customer service, showing empathy and professionalism during stressful situations.
- Be available for on-call shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as scheduled.
Required Skills
- Valid Class 5 driver's license (or equivalent) with a clean driving abstract.
- Minimum 3 years of professional tow truck driving experience.
- Proven experience operating flatbed and wheel-lift tow trucks.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent geographical knowledge of the Richmond and Greater Vancouver area.
- Ability to work independently and make quick, sound decisions under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications
