Key Responsibilities
- Develop compelling and innovative visual concepts, graphics, and layouts for a variety of projects, including branding, advertising, websites, social media, presentations, and print materials.
- Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams (marketing, content, project management) to understand project requirements, objectives, and target audiences.
- Translate creative briefs into engaging and effective design solutions that align with brand guidelines and project goals.
- Produce high-quality artwork, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to production specifications across all deliverables.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain a keen understanding of current design trends, tools, and technologies, actively seeking opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
- Prepare files for print and digital output, ensuring all assets are optimized for their intended use.
- Present design concepts and rationale clearly and persuasively to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and creative ideation, bringing fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to the team.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as a Graphic Designer, preferably within an agency or creative studio environment.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign are essential).
- Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design work, including branding, digital, and print projects.
- Solid understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout composition.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts effectively.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Proficiency in preparing files for both print and digital production.
- Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Experience with motion graphics (e.g., After Effects) or UI/UX design principles.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Jira).
- Understanding of web design principles and best practices.
- Experience in client-facing roles, presenting and defending design choices.
