Key Responsibilities
- Clean and tidy all assigned guest rooms to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing bathrooms.
- Replenish guest room amenities and supplies, ensuring all items are well-stocked and neatly arranged.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas, hallways, and back-of-house areas as assigned.
- Handle guest requests promptly and courteously, reporting any maintenance issues or guest concerns to the supervisor immediately.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Inspect rooms for damage, hazards, or missing items and report findings.
- Manage linen inventory, ensuring adequate supplies are available.
- Collaborate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Follow established procedures for lost and found items.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to clean to a high standard, with attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and push for extended periods.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, with a basic understanding of English.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines rigorously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (6 months – 1 year) in a hotel housekeeping role.
- Familiarity with various cleaning chemicals and equipment.
