Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome and seat guests during evening and late-night hours.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen/bar staff.
- Serve meals and drinks efficiently, ensuring high standards of presentation.
- Assist with table clearing, resetting, and maintaining the cleanliness of the dining area.
- Process payment transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Perform closing duties, including cleaning, restocking, and preparing the restaurant for the next day.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen and other front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve minor complaints promptly and courteously.
Required Skills
- Ability to consistently work night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong work ethic and proven reliability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs (11 kg).
- Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions.
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn new tasks.
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
