Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement robust demand forecasts, integrating sales, marketing, and historical data to ensure accuracy.
- Manage inventory levels across various SKUs to minimize stockouts and overstock, optimizing working capital.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, sales, and logistics teams to ensure timely product availability and efficient delivery.
- Monitor and analyze supply chain performance, identifying bottlenecks and proposing solutions for improvement.
- Negotiate with suppliers and logistics partners to secure favorable terms and maintain strong relationships.
- Participate in S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) meetings, presenting supply chain insights and contributing to strategic decisions.
- Utilize ERP/MRP systems for planning, scheduling, and reporting, ensuring data integrity.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and company policies.
- Support new product introductions by planning initial stock levels and distribution strategies.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction within the supply chain.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Supply Chain Planner or similar role, specifically within the FMCG sector.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in data analysis and forecasting techniques.
- Expertise in inventory management principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating across departments and with external partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions) and experience with supply chain planning software/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
