Key Responsibilities
- Assist drivers with the safe and efficient loading and unloading of goods at various client locations.
- Verify product accuracy against delivery manifests, ensuring all items are accounted for and in good condition.
- Help navigate routes, understand delivery schedules, and communicate proactively with the driver regarding traffic or route adjustments.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers during deliveries, providing excellent service.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure a secure work environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support daily operations and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the day.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with drivers and customers.
- Exceptional reliability and punctuality, with a strong commitment to attendance.
